The Sports Department holds a long-running slot of FM airtime during the week. Its talk show, The Daily Sports Report, airs from 6:00–6:30PM, Monday-Thursday, during the University’s fall and winter semesters. One host moderates, and up to four analysts converse about anything from local University of Michigan sports to breaking national sports stories. WCBN Sports embraces debate on The Daily Sports Report, which serves as a space where students can talk about sports on the radio as if they were sitting in front of the television in their living rooms. This comfortable yet professional environment enables students to improve their communication skills as well as take a break from the stresses of life on a rigorous university campus.
