Robert Yoon

Robert Yoon is a political journalist and the Howard R. Marsh Visiting Professor of Journalism at the University of Michigan. He is the host of "The J Word," WCBN's public affairs program about journalism and current events. For 17 years, Yoon served as Director of Political Research at CNN, where he earned two Emmys and a Peabody Award for his contributions to the network's election coverage. He is also a contributor and analyst for Inside Elections, a non-partisan political newsletter. Mediaite named him as one of the most influential people in the news media in 2016. He completed a Knight-Wallace journalism fellowship at U-M in 2018.
