Keeper of the blues on WCBN, former UM student, present community member.

I started as a volunteer sub, and was recruited by Charlie White PD. I’ve been DJing since July 5, 1977. Expect to hear real deal blues with informative, entertaining content. I usually play the blues, old school rock and roll, R&B. My early passions and influences are Fats Domino, Hank Williams, Elvis, Buddy Holly, 60s British Invasion Bands, Frank Zappa blues and jazz, Willie Dixon, Chuck Berry, and Bo Diddley. My favorite thing about WCBN is who we are, our place with the university and Ann Arbor community, and our unique free form and specialty show programming.
