Tex spends most of his time in junk shops and Salvation Army outlets in western Wayne and Washtenaw counties, pulling country and polka records off the scrap heap of history. He has, however, been known to venture to other parts of the six-county metropolitan area. Pendengar Indonesia, selamat datang!
In Fall 1989, I started at WCBN when I was recruited for Down Home Show by a departing DJ. Listeners should expect a good deal of country and bluegrass music that they may not hear anywhere else at all. I started out in classical music and believe it gave me an idea of how to approach other kinds of music. My favorite thing about WCBN is the total freedom it gives you to experiment with original programming.
