I joined the station in 2009, seduced by WCBN stickers pasted around campus. I've been engineering the sound for the Living Writers show for about as long. I was the general manager of WCBN for a year while studying at U-M for a PhD in ecology. I graduated in 2012. I've DJed a freeform show for all this time, except for the year that I broadcast two podcasts: Point A to Point B, about how people got from point A to B in their lives, and hugabug, about the weirdness of animals. It all started with recording on my Talkboy as a kid. Listeners should expect sound effects and animals (also a broken radio--sorry) on my show, Break Your Radio.
