an ode to youtube upload channels, an ode to corked wine, an ode to worn thrift store electronics, an ode to music outside of music, an ode to sound outside of sound, an ode to listening outside of listening.
C8760 is a project imagining a cassette containing a years worth of radio programming taken from splicing together the cassette tape of all the music played in a given hour. this cassette would turn into a radio show in of itself that could be played continuously for a year, simulating its own weekly programming. the sounds and music heard thus must be alien enough in order to effectively generate this deviation of radio programming.
possibly, in some lifetime this project will be finished. for now, C8760 will be the orphanage of all the sound wandering the internet.
